The project aims to enhance the tourism offerings of the destination, addressing the critical gap in complementary infrastructure related to local attractions. Currently, there is no comprehensive tourist infrastructure connecting various settlements to meet the needs of guests interested in modern, experience-based tourism.
The fundamental tourist services introduced within the project are vital for visitors to the region. These initiatives not only enhance the appeal of natural and cultural heritage but also connect various attractions, creating an inviting experience for active tourism enthusiasts, including hikers and cyclists. Notably, these activities do not require permits from the building authority, facilitating quicker implementation.

Key elements of the project include:
• Development of a network of marked cycling routes to link major attractions within the geopark.
• Maintenance of existing hiking trails and the construction of new rest areas, along with organizing cross-border events that promote hiking, including those aimed at endurance tour enthusiasts.
• Construction of parking lots for caravans and related infrastructure in four strategic locations.

The project partners are dedicated to developing complementary infrastructure to create a competitive and sustainable tourism product. Emphasis is placed on sharing experiences in tourist destination management, strengthening the cross-border structures of the geopark’s management and marketing, and implementing activities that add significant value, contributing to the overall quality of life for local residents.
Support for this project is crucial for tapping into the tourism potential of the target area, revitalizing the local economy, and promoting sustainable tourism practices. With these enhancements, the region is set to become increasingly attractive to visitors, resulting in higher tourism revenue and benefits for the local community.
