Priority Axis 1 – Green cooperations
Specific objective 1.1 – Promoting transition to a circular and resource efficient economy
Both countries need to boost their resource efficiency and move towards circular economy, while using the potential of the cross-border area. We look for projects that target agroindustry (e.g. biofood), energy efficiency, renewable resources (e.g. solar, biomass, geothermic energy), green and circular economy (e.g. waste management).
Action 1.1.1 – Resource and waste management

- Measure 1.1.1/B): Sustainable waste management and waste prevention

Specific objective 1.2 – Protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure
The natural landscape of our border region, where nature knows no boundaries, connects communities beyond administrative lines. It offers a shared space for collaborative efforts and cross-border projects in nature protection, biodiversity conservation, water management, and the development of green infrastructure.
Action 1.2.1 – Protection and preservation of the natural capital
